MENAS Ph.D. Graduate Assists in Launching New Minor at VCU

Kamilia Rahmouni, May 2019 Ph.D. graduate, started her assistant professor position at Virginia Commonwealth University this fall, and has aided in the creation of the new Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies minor.

Per an article written on the VCU website, "The 18-credit minor updates and builds on an existing minor in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies, reflects changes in the world, and responds to the needs of students to become effective global citizens."
