Mahmoud Azaz has been awarded a 2016-2017 Confluencenter Faculty Collaboration for a project titled "Arabic Language Planning in Egypt: An Interdisciplinary Approach"

Jibreel Delgado, an ABD (All But Dissertation) PhD candidate is set to speak at Marmara Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Dekanlık Binası Beşinci Kat Yönetim Kurulu Salonu in Istanbul. His seminar will be focused on "Investigating the Islamic Intellectual Heritage in Istanbul."

In addition to her CASA fellowship in Jordan, Zoe has earned a nine month long Fullbright Research Fellowship for her proposal titled: "Curriculum design in teaching Arabic as a foreign language (TAFL) programs in Oman"

Congratulations to Kyle Jones for getting two of his papers accepted to national and international conferences!

His paper on gemination in Egyptian which he presented at the MENA Forum was accepted for presentation at the 22nd International Congress on Acoustics to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina this September!

Zoe has been admitted to the prestigious CASA program as a fellow for the 2016-2017 period.

She intends to take full advantage of everything the program has to offer:
